I'd recommend buying individual series sets instead of buying the complete series set every bit individual flavor sets packaging I think is made to final better.
From what I've read of the reviews of packaging on complete series gear up of Star Expedition Voyager I'd recommend spending thirty% to 60% more buying each season gear up separately due to packaging.
Star Trek Voyager series is a very enjoyable serial to lookout. Bought the 1st 4 seasons sets & will purchase each season 5, 6, 7 equally they continue sale. Moving-picture show is full screen & no black bars.
Film quality is to me higher up par if played on Sony BDPS6700 4K Upscaling 3D Streaming Blu-Ray Disc Thespian (Black) that I bought on Amazon. Upscaling player makes Dvds good enough that I may continue Dvds & not upgrade to Blu Ray copies on titles I already own in Dvd.
Catch them on sale & buy individual season sets for better storage container for your collection. Series volition take up more infinite as complete series usually takes up half the space, but due to a lot of customers poor packaging reviews I'd recommend private seasons instead.

Okay, I have only seen seasons 1 to 3 so far on DVD although not for lack of trying, only some seasons of Voyager are hard to notice. Simply of the three seasons I have seen, season 2 was the all-time so far. Near everyone this flavour is a dandy story. Twisted was practiced, simply just a lit bit pointless-- all the same nonetheless a very good story. I hope seasons 4 to 7 are just as good as this season; season 3 wasn't all that great I'chiliad sorry to say, although Flashback was one of the few great stories of season three.

After my DVD player suddenly would not play one of the discs in Season ii after all these years, and I was unable to fix the consequence with the problem disc, I found myself in a state of affairs where I had to buy a replacement prepare so that I could supercede the disc which would no longer work. A very frustrating problem to say the to the lowest degree.
Simply, at least the disc I needed in the set I bought from the seller on Amazon works fine.

The series progresses in Season Two. In this season we see the Voyager crew become through a number of adventures. Again I used the complimentary Super Saver shipping and had that detail along with some other items I ordered in a manner of days. Once again, Good job.

I want to say that every bit a Star Trek fan, I wasn't totally thrilled with Voyager when it originally aired. I institute it lacking in comparison to the excellent Deep Space Ix and Babylon 5 which I was watching at the same time. But at present re-watching the series on DVD, I accept come to actually bask the adventures of the Voyager crew. The second season of Voyager moved us a little closer to the alpha quadrant and at the same time, expanded the story of the crew working together to notice their way dwelling.
Season 2 was a lot stronger than I remembered. After a slow and uneven start to the reason, the flavor actually picked upward with the episode RESISTANCE. This was a simple but effective and touching episode nearly oppression and the lengths the coiffure would get to go what they need to survive. Joel Grey was outstanding. MELD was a very interesting look into the mind of a killer that only Star Expedition could pull off. DEATH WISH introduced Q to the series and had a very interesting argument presented. And TUVIX was some other proficient argument, this fourth dimension the correct to life and put Janeway in a very tough position.
With the fantabulous episodes, I accept to betoken out that there were many weak moments in the season. The whole Kazon/Jonas thing was very weak and it felt forced. It did non flow well as arcing stories did on DS9 or B5. I was kind of glad when the Jonas thread was over. THRESHOLD is usually on the acme of the list of worst episodes and sadly, it came from this flavour. I didn't find it as bad as I remembered but it isn't very re-watchable. RESOLUTIONS was an first-class episode but it lost a huge opportunity in exploring a possible relationship betwixt Janeway and Chakotay. This flavour could have been great but instead came across as uneven and eventually stiff. Better seasons of Voyager were ahead but Flavor 2 had many standouts and I can highly recommend this season.

I requite this a 3 star rating only because there are so many bogus copies of voyager sets on amazon. Y'all will know the existent deal if it is in a 2 slice package that splits in the middle leaving the round encompass picture with the disc ready. Also the discs volition have the episode and air dates effectually the center hole. The discs are in a hard plastic binder type case with different colors for each season. The back will as well list the episodes. Make sure you contact the seller and get a detailed clarification of the disc and packaging before ordering. The gear up that I received from speedkingbooks for season 3 came in a shiny cardboard box that when opened you slip off another plain brown cardboard cover to find the discs in the centre of the cardboard holder in a flimsy binder type slip cover. Also the discs do not take the episodes in the heart of the disc and episodes are not listed on the back cover. The seller offerd me a refund but still insists that in is not bogus and at this point from his electronic mail it reads like taking down my ane star rating is a pre-status for said refund .I have not gotten a response back to that question but that is how information technology read to me. BEWARE save yourself some grief and contact the seller. If you are a collector of Trek then you won't want the knockoff. I'grand not a collector and I don't want it. Hate seeing voyager wiggle it'south mode thru infinite. Skillful Luck

This is the 2nd season of Star Trek Voyager. This is a flavour like the first of uneven quality.
What I liked: At that place were interesting episodes those being "Lifesigns"(a doctor's prescribed treatment vs. a patients wishes), "The Thaw"(the Cirque du Soleil episode with a fine performance by Michael McKean), "Investigations"(finding sedition within the Voyager crew). The serial was non much for developing story arcs. The writers didn't pretend to do and so. At that place were interesting species such as the Vidians. They were not a "disposable hostile" blazon of people. They had a devastating disease but ahd a monstrous manner to deal with it. They simply had a few stories in this season.
What I didn't like: The episodes "37s"(The crew has an opportunity to settle on an earth like planet). There was the lack of character development as well. The bad guys of the series, the Kazon, are petty more than dime store Klingons with none of the redeeming qualities of the latter. Seska, the crewmember who leaves Voyager, is shown equally a traitor. Why? Season 2 doesn't cover this; a thumbnail epitomize would accept helped. That she's a Cardassian spy? Non enough. Information technology would have been far more than interesting to have her as a Sharon the Cylon type/someone who comes back as a crewmember simply is never completely trusted.
Many fault the Star Trek franchise for being too idealistic and non "dark and edgy"(those "dark and edgy" series IMHO will probably be doomed to be dated as Lava Lamps, Disco, and Leg warmers). This is not a problem for this reviewer. However, a little more character evolution would assist. Of course, I'm only referreing to Season two.

Voyager is my favourite Star Trek series, and then naturally I have been slowly edifice my collection.
These boxsets look nice, and the DVDs are relatively easy to become to. The box itself is encased in a kind of dual plastic sleeve. You remove the peak part of the clear sleeve, and the lower role had the big graphic that covers the discs and then it looks prissy. Y'all can slide the box out from in that location, and it actually opens like a book which is overnice. Each disc has its own 'folio' Each set up is a differently coloured plastic, but the plastic itself might be seen every bit flimsy and might break easily. If you accept intendance of your things though, this shouldn't exist a problem. My outer plastic shell has gotten its share of scratches and dings from moving and normal usage, and I find it can sometimes be a bit frustrating to get the box back into it, due to the lip at the bottom information technology refuses to slide into. (Much like getting that final bill of fare into a deck of cards) The back of the sleeve does show an episode list every bit well.
The menu is total on Star Trek, and has an blithe intro, I was non disappointed. The last disk likewise has a bunch of special features too! It's overall a squeamish boxset, and I would recommend it to any Voyager fan!
